Frequently asked questions
Which service level do I need?
If your bike is ridden regularly and just needs a tune-up, the Basic Service is usually fine. If it's been a while or you ride year-round, the Intermediate is our most popular choice. The Major is best for bikes that have been neglected or need a full reset.
Are parts included in the price?
Prices are for labour. If parts are needed (brake pads, cables, chain etc.), we'll let you know the cost and get your approval before fitting. Parts are charged at cost — no mark-up surprises.
How long does a service take?
A Basic Service takes around 45–75 minutes. An Intermediate is typically 1.5–2.5 hours. A Major Service can take 4–6 hours and may span two visits for complex jobs.
Do you service all types of bikes?
Yes — road bikes, mountain bikes, hybrids, commuters, folding bikes and kids' bikes. If you're unsure, just ask.
What our customers say
"I'd been putting off getting it looked at for months. James came out on Saturday morning, had everything stripped down and sorted in a couple of hours. Feels like a completely different bike."
